Planque's Cyprien Hervouet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernand Maurey in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Planque's zone, Joël Gasparini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyprien Hervouet came out of the goal and Joël Gasparini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nathanaël Dejoie to strike the kick off in the second half. Nathanaël Dejoie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprien Hervouet having to interfere. Antoine Batisse's late challenge caught a Jailleux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antoine Batisse helped the player get up and apologised. Nathanaël Dejoie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cyprien Hervouet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Maxime Verge was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Prosper Delord capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prosper Delord really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Joël Gasparini struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Cyprien Hervouet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jailleux. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Planque had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
