Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chapotin! Christian Jegouzo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Herve Briard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joffrey Le Boulch went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Chapotin's Jules Rivat got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 13 minutes, Manuel Laclau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vayres and the Chapotin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Laclau hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Joachim Hilaire came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Vayres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Hilaire couldn't finish the play. Achille Sylvestre hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jarod Jouet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herve Briard. Chapotin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Jules Rivat took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rachid Andriot to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the match, Chapotin's Jules Rivat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Andriot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Manuel Laclau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chapotin's Bertrand Pelloux got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joachim Hilaire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Sylvestre kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Herve Briard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joffrey Le Boulch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Jules Rivat made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chapotin's goalkeeper Herve Briard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 64 minutes, Joffrey Le Boulch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vayres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joffrey Le Boulch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herve Briard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joffrey Le Boulch, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Joachim Hilaire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herve Briard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Chapotin booed when Vayres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarod Jouet didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jules Rivat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rachid Andriot was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emile Lafage during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vayres's supporters rose to their feet, but Joffrey Le Boulch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herve Briard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
