Barthélémy Schutz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Malcom Poullain. Larivière's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valentin Prouvost hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Cédric Briet made a precise shot to the right of Malcom Poullain. Larivière's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Larivière's Malcom Poullain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célestin Chassagne in the 11th minute of play. If Gaspard Carrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peurye's goalkeeper Pierre-Emmanuel Coutaud, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Malcom Poullain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célestin Chassagne in the 22nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Célestin Chassagne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malcom Poullain. Larivière's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Célestin Chassagne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 40th minute, Alex Le Henaff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Cédric Briet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Célestin Chassagne was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Célestin Chassagne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcom Poullain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Cédric Briet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Larivière's goal looked a bit too open when Célestin Chassagne came free, but Malcom Poullain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierre-Emmanuel Coutaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loic Griveau, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gaspard Carrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pierre-Emmanuel Coutaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Peurye's Célestin Chassagne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Cédric Briet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Malcom Poullain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match Gaston Baly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malcom Poullain showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaspard Carrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Emmanuel Coutaud having to interfere. Peurye's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
