The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Côte's Djibril Mandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brice Couvelard in the 2nd minute of play. Nolan Hiverts short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Djibril Mandin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Djibril Mandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nolan Hivert, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Djibril Mandin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nolan Hivert's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Nolan Hivert in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Djibril Mandin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Côte getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jeremy Larive hit a great ball. Djibril Mandin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Djimmy Fouquart in the 15th minute. With his leg Djibril Mandin managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when FC Foix's Nolan Hivert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A long shot from Donovan Chauvière in the 24th minute of play was well struck, but Djibril Mandin made a really good save at the right post. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Nolan Hivert took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Djibril Mandin to make any attempt to save it. Brice Couvelard charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brice Couvelard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Foix's Brice Couvelard got a free kick in the 30th minute. Nolan Hivert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Djibril Mandin came out and tried to block the shot, but Nolan Hivert slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 38th minute. Hamid Lamothe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnabe Cammas in the 43rd minute of the match. Nolan Hivert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Djibril Mandin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nolan Hivert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Nolan Hivert sped through Côte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Djibril Mandin. Djibril Mandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nolan Hivert, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Brice Couvelard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 88th minute of the match Jeremy Larive completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeremy Larive a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. FC Foix made a substitution. Tanguy Argentin replaced Stanislas Warin. If Nolan Hivert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Nolan Hivert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Côte's Djibril Mandin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, FC Foix's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Boris Hallouin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. There was no doubt that FC Foix were the better team. FC Foix's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
