Challans's Bertrand Demol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theodore Brabant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Côme Mourlon struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Theodore Brabant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Challans. In the 47th minute, Renaud Huyghe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincent Fillon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of F.C. Challans booed when Evry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxence Hatte didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertrand Demol in the 61st minute of play forced Evry's goalkeeper Theodore Brabant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Fillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Clot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorian Gergaud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Bertrand Demol fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Evry's Theodore Brabant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Evry from getting a goal against them. Bertrand Demol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Theodore Brabant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodore Brabant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertrand Demol, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Samir Le Roux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodore Brabant having to interfere. Renaud Huyghe kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Samir Le Roux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
