In the 8th minute of the match Jean-Pascal Baguet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspard Leboucher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Boulaie's Loic Morey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Boulaie getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Raymond Nivelle hit a great ball. Samir Le Roux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspard Leboucher having to interfere. F.C. Challans's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Omer Camy scored to the left of an out of position Dorian Gergaud, making the score, 2-0. Gaspard Leboucher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertrand Demol in the 32nd minute of the match. Gaspard Leboucher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrand Demol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samir Le Roux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gaspard Leboucher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Samir Le Roux managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Challans's supporters rose to their feet, but Samir Le Roux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspard Leboucher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Bertrand Demol made the kick off in the second half. Dorian Gergaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omer Camy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omer Camy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. F.C. Challans's Dorian Gergaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loic Morey in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Loic Morey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dorian Gergaud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 60 minutes, Samir Le Roux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Challans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samir Le Roux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samir Le Roux struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Gaspard Leboucher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Challans. Bertrand Demol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspard Leboucher having to interfere. Dorian Gergaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loic Morey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Samir Le Roux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Bertrand Demol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Challans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertrand Demol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Côme Mourlon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspard Leboucher having to interfere. The Boulaie players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
