The Kientzheim fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Kientzheim's Alfred Mériguet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Cantenay's Xavier Halter got a free kick in the 8th minute. Kientzheim's Paul-Émile Roberge got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eymeric Baly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul-Émile Roberge, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Joey Moussier might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ghislain Volle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joey Moussier ran back to his position shaking his head. Josselin Astier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Ghislain Volle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Josselin Astier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ghislain Volle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Josselin Astier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Kientzheim's Sylvain Dionnet got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Josselin Astier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ghislain Volle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ghislain Volle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joey Moussier in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Mériguet in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eymeric Baly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ghislain Volle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josselin Astier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ghislain Volle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinedine Ciret in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Dylan Gonin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Xavier Halter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ghislain Volle. That made the score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. With his leg Ghislain Volle managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Cantenay's Josselin Astier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The wind increased when Paul-Émile Roberge made the kick off in the second half. Eymeric Baly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Mériguet in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrien Canet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eymeric Baly. That made the score 2-3 in the 67 minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Cantenay's Joey Moussier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ghislain Volle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Zinedine Ciret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ghislain Volle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Cantenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Halter to maneuver through the defense. Ghislain Volle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinedine Ciret in the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Cantenay got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Colon.
