Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ludovic Croizer kicked off to start the match. If Charly Pirès had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruce Chabanon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnold Combret didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charly Pirès went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Ferrières's zone, Bruce Chabanon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnold Combret came out of the goal and Bruce Chabanon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Charly Pirès had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Télindière's François Étienne in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, Ferrières's Marin Pieri threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ludovic Croizer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruce Chabanon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Bruce Chabanon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gérard Lasselin during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Télindière's François Étienne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Xavier Dridi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Combret having to interfere. Xavier Dridi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Arnold Combret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. François Étienne might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnold Combret. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. François Étienne ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnold Combret made an important save on a dangerous shot by François Étienne in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Xavier Dridi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnold Combret, 1-3. Arnold Combret made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Charly Pirès sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Télindière's François Étienne slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnold Combret. That made the score 1-4 after 86 minutes of play. 93 minutes into the match, Ferrières's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Dridi came free, but Arnold Combret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. François Étienne might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnold Combret. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. François Étienne ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Télindière left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ferrières.
