Dylan Breteau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rayanne Padovani in the 38th minute of the match. Didier Tricard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Aurélien Chesnais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Thierry Bassot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roland Bouchon to make the kick off. In the 83rd minute Roland Bouchon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Breteau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rayanne Padovani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Breteau having to interfere. Rayanne Padovani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dylan Breteau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mulleron supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mulleron would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
