Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lilian Vazquez took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jackson Cabot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thibaut Coquerelle. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Flex's Emmanuel Lux got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christophe Samson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Titouan Estrade in the 13th minute of the match. Flex were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Barthélemy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jordy Pichavant took the corner. The corner led Flex's Adil Bernard to fire away a dangerous shot which Christophe Samson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Christophe Samson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titouan Estrade in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Flex's Titouan Estrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christophe Samson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Titouan Estrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christophe Samson was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The supporters of Barthélemy booed when Flex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Poinas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christophe Samson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titouan Estrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Dave Frin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Samson having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Flex's Titouan Estrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christophe Samson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
After having played for 52 minutes, Titouan Estrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Titouan Estrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Titouan Estrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christophe Samson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adil Bernard in the 73rd minute of play. Lilian Vazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Flex's Dave Frin got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes, Barthélemy's Faustin Boulange shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thibaut Coquerelle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barthélemy reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Pichavant in the 78th minute of play forced Barthélemy's goalkeeper Christophe Samson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barthélemy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jordy Pichavant was slow to take the kick. During this time Flex's players had a chance to rest. In the 79th minute, Jean-Charles Tassy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jackson Cabot kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Titouan Estrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Titouan Estrade made a precise shot to the right of Christophe Samson. Barthélemy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. Jordy Pichavant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Christophe Samson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 92 minutes into the match, Barthélemy's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Pichavant came free, but Christophe Samson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flex's Eymeric Verriere got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flex's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
