In the 17th minute, Karl Folliot made a precise shot to the right of Joris Lahaye. Stade Rennais FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 22 minutes, Alfred Gachon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stade Rennais FC and the oPerational Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfred Gachon hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes, Karl Folliot made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Stade Rennais FC's Joris Lahaye tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hamid Badier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amine Paolini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in oPerational Team's zone, Hamid Badier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amine Paolini came out of the goal and Hamid Badier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Hamid Badier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but oPerational Team's Amine Paolini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romain Clapier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Botte during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of oPerational Team booed when Stade Rennais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Botte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Stade Rennais FC's goalkeeper Joris Lahaye had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanguy Labatut. Stade Rennais FC's Romain Clapier got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romain Clapier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amine Paolini having to make a save. Hamid Badier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Amine Paolini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Badier in the 79th minute of play forced oPerational Team's goalkeeper Amine Paolini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. oPerational Team's Amine Paolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Badier in the 81st minute of play. If Cyprien Pestel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Romain Clapier made a precise shot to the right of Amine Paolini. oPerational Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 93 minutes into the match, Cyprien Pestel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joris Lahaye, 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched oPerational Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
