The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Élie Cassan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Decool in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Plappeville booed when Lezs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gauthier Pialat didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Florent Dupeyron in the 7th minute really tested Manuel Ginet's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Lezs booed when Plappeville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugues Ginoux didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Ryan Decool shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Élie Cassan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Élie Cassan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marouane Estrade in the 12th minute of the match. Manuel Ginet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugues Ginoux in the 16th minute of the match. If Florent Dupeyron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Élie Cassan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Decool in the 21st minute of play. Élie Cassan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lezs's Ryan Decool shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ryan Decool blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Élie Cassan having to make a save. Gauthier Pialat hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 1-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Oscar Batut elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 36th minute Ryan Decool shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Élie Cassan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Plappeville's Élie Cassan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymerick Burnier in the 37th minute of play. Élie Cassan came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Lezs's Mario Drieux. But to his dismay, Mario Drieux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, Melvin Diaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Élie Cassan. Plappeville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melvin Diaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Hugues Ginoux hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half Lezs were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryan Decool to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Melvin Diaz sped through Plappeville's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Élie Cassan. Plappeville's Élie Cassan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melvin Diaz in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ryan Decool managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lezs's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Decool was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Élie Cassan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Élie Cassan was a little too slow when Marouane Estrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-6. With his leg Élie Cassan managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Lezs's Ryan Decool fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Plappeville's Élie Cassan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melvin Diaz in the 78th minute of play. Plappeville's Élie Cassan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Plappeville from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the game, Marouane Estrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Élie Cassan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Élie Cassan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Decool, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plappeville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Melvin Diaz scored to the left of an out of position Élie Cassan, making the score, 1-8. Gilles Roman hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Lezs left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Plappeville.
