But to his dismay, Irakliy Kurennov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Cysoing's Gauthier Visse got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Lenny Soula sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walter Lejeune skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irakliy Kurennov made a kick off. Irakliy Kurennov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Walter Lejeune 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Irakliy Kurennov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Lejeune. Cysoing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irakliy Kurennov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Walter Lejeune made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Hassan Delestre sent off a good shot on target. Cysoing's Walter Lejeune proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Cysoing from getting a goal against them. Marc Agniel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Nantes FC's Irakliy Kurennov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. 72 minutes into the match, Cysoing's goalkeeper Walter Lejeune had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hervé Chauve. In the 91st minute, Irakliy Kurennov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Lejeune was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-8. Irakliy Kurennov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walter Lejeune came out and tried to block the shot, but Irakliy Kurennov slotted it home off the left post making it 2-9 in the 96th minute. When the match was over Nantes FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cysoing throughout the match.
