Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Orcines's Jackson Rion started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Jackson Rion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Davesne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Orcines fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Orcines's Jackson Rion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Thomas Verot came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Orcines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Verot couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ranquet's zone, Jackson Rion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yves Davesne came out of the goal and Jackson Rion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jackson Rion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yves Davesne having to make a save. Yves Davesne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jackson Rion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jackson Rion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathis Villeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Verot in the 23rd minute of play. Francis Mokhtari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Yves Davesne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonin Martens hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Mathieu Oudart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathis Villeger. Orcines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathieu Oudart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Orcines's Jackson Rion in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ranquet's goalie prevented a goal. Josselin Assie lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Orcines! The goalkeeper, Mathis Villeger, was totally fooled by Ranquet's Moïse Felten, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Fernand Guilloton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Francis Mokhtari fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yves Davesne, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Orcines getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Justin Villaret hit a great ball. Thomas Verot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Yves Davesne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jason Delporte scored 3-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathis Villeger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernand Guilloton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Yves Davesne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orcines's Mathis Villeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustave Verot in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ranquet's goalkeeper Yves Davesne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernand Guilloton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Yves Davesne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathis Villeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Delporte in the 91st minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ranquet were victorious despite being under pressure from Orcines for much of the match.
