Ludomil Kajdasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodd Laing in the 13th minute of the match. Rodd Laing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Kajdasz having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Rodd Laing made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludomil Kajdasz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Antonin Dagorne came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Herblay's Antonin Dagorne in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Herblay booed when Cosa nostra Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thierry Platon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonin Dagorne succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 43rd playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Herblay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
