The audience was convinced that Antonin Dagorne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Ludomil Kajdasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yazid Larnicol in the 17th minute of the match. Ludomil Kajdasz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Derviş Okan fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunar Park's protests and gave Derviş Okan a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Lunar Park got a freekick which was hit by Derviş Okan. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ben Girouard hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Fabien Canu sped through Herblay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz. Lunar Park's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
