Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sjúrdur Danielsen made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janus Joensen in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens Christian Gunnarsson saved Hucknall from getting behind. Janus Joensen kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Jákup Potemkin came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Hucknall's Jústinus Høgni Jacobsen. But to his dismay, Jústinus Høgni Jacobsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jens Christian Gunnarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Davy Sylla's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 18 played minutes Sjúrdur Danielsen rounded Grantham FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. A hard shot 21 in the game by Jústinus Høgni Jacobsen from a close distance when the talented Jákup Potemkin managed to make a qualified save. Grantham FC's players were relieved. Brian Danielsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jákup Potemkin. Grantham FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jákup Potemkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjúrdur Danielsen in the 27th minute of play. Jens Christian Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janus Joensen in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Pól Hansen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens Christian Gunnarsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hucknall's Jens Christian Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janus Joensen in the 37th minute of play. Jens Christian Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janus Joensen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hucknall's zone, Símun Norðbúð stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Christian Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Símun Norðbúð tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janus Joensen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hucknall's zone, Símun Norðbúð stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Christian Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Símun Norðbúð tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th match minute, Hucknall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fróði Højsted to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Grantham FC's Janus Joensen fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Janus Joensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Christian Gunnarsson having to interfere. In the game's 66th minute Grantham FC's Pól Hansen took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Jens Christian Gunnarsson and thus the score was 2-1. Sjúrdur Danielsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jákup Potemkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hucknall's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Janus Joensen scored to the left of an out of position Jens Christian Gunnarsson, making the score, 2-2. Hans Hansen hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Hucknall's Fróði Højsted nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jákup Potemkin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After having played for 96 minutes, Sjúrdur Danielsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hucknall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sjúrdur Danielsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hucknall fans cheered their team off the field, for while Grantham FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
