Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Johan Thorleifsson made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Wath upon Dearne AFC's Tonny Højsted ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brian Højsted. Brian Højsted yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Wath upon Dearne AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Thorleifsson came free, but Hjalgrím í Lon Jacobsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Howden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óli Potemkin to maneuver through the defense. Hanus Carlsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalgrím í Lon Jacobsen having to interfere. If Hanus Carlsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mortan Olsen fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wath upon Dearne AFC's protests and gave Mortan Olsen a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Wath upon Dearne AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mortan Olsen. Hjalgrím í Lon Jacobsen came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Howden's Johan Thorleifsson. But to his dismay, Johan Thorleifsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Johan Thorleifsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Wath upon Dearne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonny Højsted to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Howden's zone, Hannis Joensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Højsted came out of the goal and Hannis Joensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hannis Joensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Brian Højsted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hjalgrím í Lon Jacobsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hanus Carlsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Óli Potemkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalgrím í Lon Jacobsen having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tonny Højsted made the kick off in the second half. If Hannis Joensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wath upon Dearne AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Hanus Carlsen scored to the left of an out of position Hjalgrím í Lon Jacobsen, making the score, 1-2. Howden's Brian Højsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannis Joensen in the 64th minute of play. Sorin Højsted hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Wath upon Dearne AFC's Atli Hansen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Howden's Brian Højsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannis Joensen in the 68th minute of play. Klæmint Heri Dam charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klæmint Heri Dam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Wath upon Dearne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klæmint Heri Dam to maneuver through the defense. Hanus Carlsen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Hjalgrím í Lon Jacobsen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wath upon Dearne AFC's Tonny Højsted got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hjalgrím í Lon Jacobsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hanus Carlsen in the 84th minute. When Tonny Højsted came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Wath upon Dearne AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tonny Højsted couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Wath upon Dearne AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mortan Olsen hit a great ball. Hanus Carlsen scored 1-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hjalgrím í Lon Jacobsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Howden players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
