Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Johan Thorleifsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jákup Færø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Thorleifsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jákup Færø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Thorleifsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 9 played minutes Grange-over-Sands got a freekick which was hit by Bogi Midjord. After 18 played minutes Howden got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Højsted. Jónleif Jónsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jákup Færø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Thorleifsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Óli Jacobsen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Johan Thorleifsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Højsted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Eliasen in the 30th minute of play. Rasmus Eliasen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Højsted having to interfere. After some careless play in the Howden defense, Óli Ellingsgaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brian Højsted. The Howden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brian Højsted should have stopped the shot. After 38 minutes, Poul Enok Djurhuus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grange-over-Sands and the Howden players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Howden. Hans Elttør stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jákup Færø. 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Howden's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Eliasen came free, but Brian Højsted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Óli Ellingsgaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Rasmus Eliasen made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Rasmus Eliasen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Højsted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Højsted came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Grange-over-Sands's Rasmus Eliasen. But to his dismay, Rasmus Eliasen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Johan Thorleifsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Eliasen in the 63rd minute of play forced Howden's goalkeeper Brian Højsted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rasmus Eliasen fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grange-over-Sands's protests and gave Rasmus Eliasen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Grange-over-Sands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasmus Eliasen to maneuver through the defense. Jákup Færø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Thorleifsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Brian Højsted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Eliasen in the 72nd minute of the match. Hanus Carlsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jákup Færø came out and tried to block the shot, but Hanus Carlsen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute Óli Ellingsgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Højsted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hanus Carlsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Howden's goal looked a bit too open when Hanus Midjurd came free, but Brian Højsted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Rasmus Eliasen sped through Howden's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brian Højsted. Howden's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
