In the 18th minute Rafał Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jóan Falkenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Olsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hanus Nielsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jákup Færø during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an all-out effort, Salcombe City's Hanus Nielsen threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tommy Eliasen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th match minute, Stock United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikkjal Nielsen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Stock United's Jákup Færø got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Herbert Thomassen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hanus Nielsen skillfully saved the ball. Salcombe City's Jóan Falkenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafał Castilho in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafał Castilho to make the kick off. Jóan Falkenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafał Castilho, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Salcombe City booed when Stock United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikkjal Nielsen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
