Heini av Fløtum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Martin Knudsen having to interfere. Regin Kwieciński charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Regin Kwieciński the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Forest Hill United's Regin Kwieciński got a free kick in the 11th minute. Herbert Martin Knudsen came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Forest Hill United's Sorin Hansen. But to his dismay, Sorin Hansen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bogi Hansen hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Regin Kwieciński hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Coulsdon FC's Jann Rein tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Regin Kwieciński sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coulsdon FC's Herbert Martin Knudsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sorin Hansen in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forest Hill United's goalkeeper Christian Falkenberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Coulsdon FC's zone, Heini av Fløtum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Martin Knudsen came out of the goal and Heini av Fløtum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Heini av Fløtum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Martin Knudsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rógvi Nolsøe charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rógvi Nolsøe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Coulsdon FC's Rógvi Nolsøe got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Coulsdon FC's Herbert Martin Knudsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heini av Fløtum in the 44th minute of play. Símun Davy Sylla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Christian Falkenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sorin Hansen made the kick off in the second half. Símun Davy Sylla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute Tommy Højsted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Falkenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Forest Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Højsted came free, but Christian Falkenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tommy Højsted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Forest Hill United getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jón Frederiksberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Símun Davy Sylla in the 68th minute of play forced Forest Hill United's goalkeeper Christian Falkenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Mikkjal Jacobsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forest Hill United and the Coulsdon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Forest Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Mikkjal Jacobsen. Jákup Jónsson missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 71 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Christian Falkenberg right hand side. Tommy Højsted might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Falkenberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Højsted ran back to his position shaking his head. Símun Davy Sylla struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Christian Falkenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coulsdon FC. Jákup Jónsson's late challenge caught a Forest Hill United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jákup Jónsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Coulsdon FC's Jákup Jónsson got a free kick in the 85th minute. Christian Falkenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Símun Davy Sylla in the 95th minute of play. The Forest Hill United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Forest Hill United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
