Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Olsen got the match started through his kick off. Ronnie Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Olsen in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Ilkley City booed when Newton Aycliffe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Egholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andy Færø struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Egil Rói Jacobsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilkley City. In the 8th minute, Christian Kruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Newton Aycliffe City's Egil Rói Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew T. Hansen in the 10th minute of play. Andrew T. Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Rói Jacobsen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ilkley City's zone, Mikkjal Hans Rubeksen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronnie Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Mikkjal Hans Rubeksen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Olsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikkjal Hans Rubeksen struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ronnie Gunnarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newton Aycliffe City. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Færø in the 28th minute of play forced Newton Aycliffe City's goalkeeper Egil Rói Jacobsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Ilkley City got a freekick which was hit by Oddmar Jacobsen. After 32 played minutes, Newton Aycliffe City's Anderson Joensen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronnie Gunnarsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newton Aycliffe City reached it. Christian Olsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ronnie Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Olsen kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Christian Olsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrew T. Hansen was the one to do the kick off. Egil Rói Jacobsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Færø in the 55th minute. When Marni Nielsen fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newton Aycliffe City's protests and gave Marni Nielsen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Mikkjal Hans Rubeksen made a precise shot to the right of Ronnie Gunnarsson. Ilkley City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Bogi Jacobsen hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ronnie Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikkjal Hans Rubeksen in the 73rd minute of play. Christian Olsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ronnie Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Mikkjal Hans Rubeksen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ilkley City's Ronnie Gunnarsson. Ronnie Gunnarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88thth minute of the game Andrew T. Hansen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newton Aycliffe City's Egil Rói Jacobsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrew T. Hansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ingi úr Hørg fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newton Aycliffe City's protests and gave Ingi úr Hørg a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Newton Aycliffe City got a freekick which was hit by Ingi úr Hørg. Newton Aycliffe City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ilkley City for a fine match.
