Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrew T. Hansen started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Jákup Jónsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alveley United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jákup Jónsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Jákup Jónsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alveley United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jákup Jónsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Gunnarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rasmus á Bø charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasmus á Bø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Alveley United defense, Andy Færø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abraham G. Hansen. The Alveley United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abraham G. Hansen should have stopped the shot. The Alveley United fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Alveley United's Kristjan Elttør looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Abraham G. Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew T. Hansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ilkley City defense, Kristjan Elttør kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronnie Gunnarsson. The Ilkley City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronnie Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ilkley City's Rasmus á Bø got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Alveley United's goalkeeper Abraham G. Hansen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rasmus á Bø. Kristjan Elttør blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronnie Gunnarsson having to make a save. In the 40th minute, Jákup Jónsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronnie Gunnarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Abraham G. Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew T. Hansen in the 45th minute of the match. Andrew T. Hansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Ronnie Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristjan Elttør, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alveley United's Sorin Jónsson pulled a muscle in his leg after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Bogi Jacobsen fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ilkley City's protests and gave Bogi Jacobsen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ilkley City's Bogi Jacobsen got a free kick in the 55th minute. Andy Færø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham G. Hansen having to interfere. Andrew T. Hansen took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abraham G. Hansen. Abraham G. Hansen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alveley United's goalkeeper Abraham G. Hansen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kristjan Elttør could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ronnie Gunnarsson made a huge save. If Kristjan Elttør had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Leif L. Holst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alveley United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Alveley United's Abraham G. Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Færø in the 83rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alveley United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
