Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Torkil Thomassen kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atherton United! After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, René Martin Knudsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atherton United's supporters rose to their feet, but René Martin Knudsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Hansen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Castilho in the 13th minute of play forced Atherton United's goalkeeper Jens Eliasen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Hansen made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Diaba Egholm sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atherton United's goalkeeper Jens Eliasen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atherton United's Jens Eliasen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bárður Midjord in the 22nd minute of play. Andy Hansen made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Diaba Egholm sent off a good shot on target. Torkil Thomassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Andy Hansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Diaba Egholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atherton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diaba Egholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Bárður Midjord made a precise shot to the right of Jens Eliasen. Atherton United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 41st minute Torkil Thomassen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bárður Midjord during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. René Castilho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for René Castilho to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, René Martin Knudsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atherton United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wanlip the free kick. A collision led to Atherton United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. René Martin Knudsen hit a great ball. René Castilho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torkil Thomassen in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Hansen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bárður Midjord hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The long shot by Sjúrður Norðbúð in the 62nd minute really tested Jens Eliasen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 72 played minutes Wanlip got a freekick which was hit by Mikkjal Thomassen. Wanlip's Andy Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diaba Egholm in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diaba Egholm in the 82nd minute of play forced Wanlip's goalkeeper Andy Hansen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torkil Thomassen in the 95th minute of the match. Torkil Thomassen took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Hansen. Andy Hansen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
