Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Øssur Jacobsen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 10 minutes, Rafał Egholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandy and the Skálafjørður players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sandy getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rafał Egholm hit a great ball. Janus Jacobsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sjúrður Løkin. Sandy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ingi Hanssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjúrður Løkin having to interfere. Sjúrður Løkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Øssur Jacobsen in the 16th minute of play. Sjúrður Løkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Øssur Jacobsen in the 18th minute of the match. When Ingi Hanssen came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Skálafjørður fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingi Hanssen couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, one of Skálafjørður:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Poul Gunnarsson had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Rafał Egholm's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball After a defensive mix-up in Skálafjørður's zone, Janus Midjurd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Poul Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Janus Midjurd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Janus Midjurd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skálafjørður's Poul Gunnarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Fróði Midjord got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hjalgrím Davy Sylla hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Skálafjørður's Poul Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janus Midjurd in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janus Midjurd made a kick off. Poul Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fróði Midjord, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Skálafjørður's goal looked a bit too open when Janus Midjurd came free, but Poul Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Øssur Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sjúrður Løkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Sandy got a freekick which was hit by Leif Egholm. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Janus Midjurd put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Poul Gunnarsson. After having played for 67 minutes, Øssur Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skálafjørður's supporters crossed their fingers, but Øssur Jacobsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandy's Janus Midjurd got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fróði Midjord in the 71st minute of play forced Skálafjørður's goalkeeper Poul Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fróði Midjord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hjalgrím Davy Sylla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sjúrður Løkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fróði Midjord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sandy's zone, Øssur Jacobsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sjúrður Løkin came out of the goal and Øssur Jacobsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sjúrður Løkin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingi Hanssen in the 83rd minute. When Fróði Midjord came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sandy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fróði Midjord couldn't finish the play. Janus Midjurd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fróði Midjord's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Poul Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute Janus Midjurd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poul Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingi Matras charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingi Matras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ingi Matras hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
