Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sjúrður Heri Dam started the match with the kick off. Ronnie Eliasen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Debes in the 6th minute of play. Sjúrður Heri Dam charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sjúrður Heri Dam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Kunoy got a freekick which was hit by Sjúrður Heri Dam. In the 13th minute of the match Janus Simonsen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronnie Eliasen skillfully saved the ball. If Sjúrður Heri Dam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Poul Enok Eysturoy in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rasmus Hansen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sjúrður Heri Dam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rasmus Hansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Víkingur Göta getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hans á Bø hit a great ball. Kunoy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nenad Niclasen in the 30th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Andy Debes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronnie Eliasen. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. René G. Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Eliasen having to interfere. Ronnie Eliasen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Debes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Jóan Jacobsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kunoy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Víkingur Göta the free kick. In the 37th minute, Jóan Jacobsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. René G. Hansen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Ronnie Eliasen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ronnie Eliasen was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Andy Debes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andy Debes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Andy Debes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andy Debes was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Víkingur Göta's zone, Poul Enok Eysturoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rasmus Hansen came out of the goal and Poul Enok Eysturoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If René G. Hansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. René G. Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Eliasen having to interfere. Ronnie Eliasen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Debes in the 61st minute of play. After 62 played minutes Kunoy got a freekick which was hit by Jóan Jacobsen. Jóan Jacobsen kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Jústinus Castilho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronnie Eliasen skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Víkingur Göta booed when Kunoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Martin Knudsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Andy Debes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Víkingur Göta's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Debes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Eliasen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans á Bø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Eliasen having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Kunoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nenad Niclasen to maneuver through the defense. Ronnie Eliasen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René G. Hansen in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Víkingur Göta's René G. Hansen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronnie Eliasen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Andy Debes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ronnie Eliasen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Víkingur Göta's Hans á Bø got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Víkingur Göta's Rasmus Hansen got control of the ball when Poul Enok Eysturoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rógvi Simonsen fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Víkingur Göta's protests and gave Rógvi Simonsen a yellow card for diving instead. Rógvi Simonsen hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Víkingur Göta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
