Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrew Højsted started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Froðba getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hans Gunnarsson hit a great ball. Einar Potemkin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Farnworth's Gert Gunnarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans Simonsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hans Simonsen was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Símun Tórgarð capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Símun Tórgarð really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gert Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Simonsen having to interfere. Gert Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hans Simonsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bárður Thorleifsson in the 30th minute. Símun Tórgarð received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hans Simonsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Froðba's Hans Simonsen got control of the ball when Gert Gunnarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Andrew Højsted came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Froðba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Højsted couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Froðba booed when Farnworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jónhard Olsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Hans Simonsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Símun Tórgarð in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Símun Tórgarð stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Símun Tórgarð had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Simonsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gert Gunnarsson's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrew Højsted in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Poul Enok Davy Sylla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Símun Tórgarð in the 83rd minute of play forced Froðba's goalkeeper Hans Simonsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Símun Tórgarð who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Froðba's Hans Simonsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fróði Egholm succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 88th playminute. Poul Enok Davy Sylla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Højsted, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Fróði Egholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Símun Tórgarð who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Froðba's Hans Simonsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Farnworth manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Froðba to win.
