Hansen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Jónhard Rói Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Elttør saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oddmar L. Holst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingi Carlsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sandavágur Bóltfelag 's zone, Ingi Carlsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jákup á Bø came out of the goal and Ingi Carlsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingi Carlsen got free with Jákup á Bø in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Elttør took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todi Frederiksberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingi Carlsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingi Carlsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jákup á Bø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skælingur FS's Christian Elttør played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jónhard Rói Jacobsen in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Skælingur FS got a freekick which was hit by Hjalgrím Høgni Jacobsen. Christian Elttør made an important save on a dangerous shot by Todi Frederiksberg in the 67th minute. Jákup á Bø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oddmar L. Holst in the 81st minute of the match. Skælingur FS's Oddmar L. Holst got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jákup á Bø stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingi Carlsen's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Todi Frederiksberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Christian Elttør tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Johan á Borg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandavágur Bóltfelag and the Skælingur FS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Johan á Borg kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
