Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Andrias Jacobsen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Saltnes ÍF got a freekick which was hit by Einar Nolsøe. In the 5th minute, Heini Niclasen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrias Jacobsen in the 6th minute of play forced Saltnes ÍF 's goalkeeper Andrias Djurhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Strendur ÍF booed when Saltnes ÍF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikkjal Davy Sylla didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Saltnes ÍF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Poul í Lon Jacobsen hit a great ball. Andrias Djurhuus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil í Lon Jacobsen in the 13th minute of play. Andrias Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Andrias Djurhuus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gert G. Hansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronnie Kruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Nolsøe in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Jann Mikkelsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strendur ÍF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jann Mikkelsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronnie Kruse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkjal Davy Sylla, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Egil í Lon Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strendur ÍF's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil í Lon Jacobsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrias Djurhuus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrias Jacobsen in the 33rd minute of play forced Saltnes ÍF 's goalkeeper Andrias Djurhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrias Jacobsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrias Djurhuus having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, Saltnes ÍF 's Andrias á Neystabø made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronnie Kruse was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikkjal Davy Sylla was the one to do the kick off. If Andrias Jacobsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrias Djurhuus made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Egil í Lon Jacobsen sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egil í Lon Jacobsen got free with Andrias Djurhuus in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Amed Jacobsen came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Saltnes ÍF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amed Jacobsen couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Egil í Lon Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strendur ÍF's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil í Lon Jacobsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrias Djurhuus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronnie Kruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikkjal Davy Sylla in the 68th minute of play. Ronnie Kruse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Poul í Lon Jacobsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Mikkjal Davy Sylla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronnie Kruse. Strendur ÍF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikkjal Davy Sylla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 81st minute, Mikkjal Davy Sylla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronnie Kruse was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Egil í Lon Jacobsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Egil í Lon Jacobsen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andrias Djurhuus. Egil í Lon Jacobsen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Strendur ÍF's Ronnie Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkjal Davy Sylla in the 94th minute of play. Andrias Jacobsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of Strendur ÍF's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Strendur ÍF may have spent more time on the ball, but Saltnes ÍF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
