Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hjalgrím Martin Knudsen kicked off to start the match. Lambi's Oddmar Hansen suffered a sore thigh after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Amed Hansen fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gøta's protests and gave Amed Hansen a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Gøta got a freekick which was hit by Amed Hansen. Mikkjal í Lon Jacobsen kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Jóhann Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gøta's supporters rose to their feet, but Jóhann Jacobsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Olsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Gøta's Amed Hansen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mikkjal G. Hansen made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Torkil Norðbúð sent off a good shot on target. Lambi's Abraham Olsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalgrím Martin Knudsen in the 41st minute of play. Torkil Norðbúð fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikkjal G. Hansen having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some careless play in the Gøta defense, Kristjan Højsted kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikkjal G. Hansen. The Gøta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikkjal G. Hansen should have stopped the shot. Gøta's Mikkjal G. Hansen came out of the goal and Kristjan Højsted tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torkil Norðbúð recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abraham Olsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalgrím Martin Knudsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 94th minute, Jóhann Jacobsen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Torkil Norðbúð sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lambi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
