Rutenio Rosarios short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Andoni Lopez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andoni Lopez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rutenio Rosario showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Ekain Yeste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Peter Fuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aranguiz Sauca's late challenge caught a Rentería FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aranguiz Sauca helped the player get up and apologised. Luis-Javier Tormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Fuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis-Javier Tormes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 23 played minutes Santa María De Montmagastrell got a freekick which was hit by Aranguiz Sauca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekain Yeste in the 26th minute of play forced Santa María De Montmagastrell's goalkeeper Peter Fuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rutenio Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Luis-Javier Tormes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekain Yeste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Fuentes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to Santa María De Montmagastrell getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aranguiz Sauca hit a great ball. Peter Fuentes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristiano Garay. Luis-Javier Tormes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Fuentes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rentería FC's zone, Rutenio Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andoni Lopez came out of the goal and Rutenio Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Diego Marcos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa María De Montmagastrell's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Marcos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andoni Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cidro Bouzon charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cidro Bouzon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rentería FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. When Luis-Javier Tormes came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Rentería FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis-Javier Tormes couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Aranguiz Sauca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa María De Montmagastrell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Santa María De Montmagastrell's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
