The supporters of El Grao FC booed when Baseia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gumersindo Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Baseia's Lancelot Dominguez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Máximo Saboya was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, El Grao FC's goalkeeper Máximo Saboya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lancelot Dominguez. Máximo Saboya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Caballero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Caballero struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Máximo Saboya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baseia. If Lancelot Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Zapater in the 41st minute of play forced Baseia's goalkeeper Velasco Sobera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When El Grao FC's Julio Zapater in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baseia's goalie prevented a goal. Velasco Sobera came out of the goal and Cristobal Cuadrado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, El Grao FC's Julio Zapater ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Velasco Sobera. Velasco Sobera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Bruno Caballero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, El Grao FC's Julio Zapater dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Cuadrado got free with Velasco Sobera in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lancelot Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, El Grao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Caballero came free, but Máximo Saboya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máximo Saboya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Caballero in the 87th minute of play. Velasco Sobera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Zapater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baseia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Julio Zapater 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Grao FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
