In the 21st minute Xinto Fuente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pericles Casals saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Navarro Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Los Garcias SAD getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Peio Iniesta hit a great ball. Pericles Casals made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Martinez in the 37th minute. Mino Esteban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcilaso Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Otero España fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Garcias SAD's protests and gave Otero España a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Galapagar AFC booed when Los Garcias SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otero España didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xinto Fuente to make the kick off. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 51st minute, but Mino Esteban got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Los Garcias SAD hanging dry this time. Geronimo Teresa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Xinto Fuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Galapagar AFC's goalkeeper Pericles Casals, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pericles Casals showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Pericles Casals made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Martinez in the 66th minute of play. When Hugo Abrego fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The Los Garcias SAD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galapagar AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Galapagar AFC.
