The supporters of Royuela booed when Roquetes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xamo Nobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galsino Alvarez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Guillen Aceves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xelo Barbosa having to make a save. Xelo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlos Zafrilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Guillen Aceves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Royuela's Xelo Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillen Aceves in the 15th minute of play. Guillen Aceves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Xelo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Estrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliviero Mata having to interfere. If Epicuro Fuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xelo Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillen Aceves in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Roquetes getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Xamo Nobo hit a great ball. Xelo Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillen Aceves in the 28th minute of play. Oliviero Mata came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Royuela's Amadeo Estrada. But to his dismay, Amadeo Estrada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Guillen Aceves notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Royuela's Xelo Barbosa. Xelo Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Karlos Zafrilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xelo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlos Zafrilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes, Roquetes's Martino Pais shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xelo Barbosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Roquetes reached it. If Karlos Zafrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillen Aceves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xelo Barbosa having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 55th minute, Karlos Zafrilla made a precise shot to the right of Xelo Barbosa. Royuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 60th minute, Karlos Zafrilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillen Aceves in the 62nd minute of play forced Royuela's goalkeeper Xelo Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Agustín Ruiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Manuel Molina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roquetes and the Royuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Roquetes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Molina to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Epicuro Fuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliviero Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Roquetes defense, Epicuro Fuentes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliviero Mata. The Roquetes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliviero Mata should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Roquetes booed when Royuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macario Colillas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xamo Nobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Xelo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Royuela's Amadeo Estrada got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Macario Colillas charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Macario Colillas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillen Aceves in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xelo Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roquetes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
