When Iñaki Acarreta, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 9 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zabulón Domenech was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Zabulón Domenech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iñaki Acarreta in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Iñaki Acarreta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cubelles's supporters rose to their feet, but Iñaki Acarreta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zabulón Domenech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Víctor Ponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristián Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peio Tobia got free with Zabulón Domenech in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Ismael Marines made a precise shot to the right of Cristián Ramos. Cubelles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Marines was the one to do the kick off. Peio Tobia struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Zabulón Domenech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cubelles. In the 61st minute, Ismael Marines fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristián Ramos, passed just outside the right post. In the 63rd minute, Víctor Ponte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lifa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Iñaki Acarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zabulón Domenech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iñaki Acarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cubelles booed when Lifa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Candamil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristián Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Marines, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Abundio Palanques kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Víctor Ponte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cubelles's zone, Víctor Ponte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristián Ramos came out of the goal and Víctor Ponte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zabulón Domenech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iñaki Acarreta in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Mino Llorente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peio Tobia in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zabulón Domenech saved Lifa FC from getting behind. The Cubelles supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lifa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lifa FC.
