Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Telesforo Ecija got the match started through his kick off. Pelayo Vega hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Quartell's Mel Buenafuente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Raya in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Quartell's Mikel Solera got a free kick in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Flores during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave El Pinatell De Rojals a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Quinto Raya, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quartell's Mel Buenafuente. 0-1. After 13 played minutes Quartell got a freekick which was hit by Mikel Solera. Mel Buenafuente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tonete Palanques kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Telesforo Ecija in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Alcaraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Alcaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telesforo Ecija in the 20th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Quartell's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Aguilo came free, but Mel Buenafuente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quartell's Mel Buenafuente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Aguilo in the 30th minute of play. Cristobal Aguilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Serafín Maldonado came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Quartell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafín Maldonado couldn't finish the play. Serafín Maldonado might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Alcaraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafín Maldonado ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Quartell's zone, Cecilio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mel Buenafuente came out of the goal and Cecilio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Telesforo Ecija kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Alcaraz. That made the score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Aguilo made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Cecilio Costa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cecilio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mel Buenafuente having to interfere. Columbo Olano hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Cecilio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the El Pinatell De Rojals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Costa couldn't finish the play. Cristobal Aguilo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mel Buenafuente came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristobal Aguilo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. El Pinatell De Rojals's Luis Alcaraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafín Maldonado in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Pedro Caminero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Pinatell De Rojals and the Quartell players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El Pinatell De Rojals getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Pedro Caminero hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Telesforo Ecija notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of El Pinatell De Rojals's Luis Alcaraz. Luis Alcaraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of El Pinatell De Rojals booed when Quartell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikel Solera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Aguilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mel Buenafuente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Aguilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Cecilio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Quartell's Mel Buenafuente got control of the ball when Cecilio Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cecilio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mel Buenafuente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Asier Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The El Pinatell De Rojals players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Quartell from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
