Zuriko Titos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quartell's Gamus Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuriko Titos in the 10th minute of play. Zabulón Campomanes struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ricardo Casero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quartell. 15 minutes into the match, Mondriz CF's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Elguero came free, but Ricardo Casero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Sebastiano Lorenzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mondriz CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quartell the free kick. Sebastiano Lorenzo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Quartell's Zabulón Campomanes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Casero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Quartell's Hugo Elguero in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mondriz CF's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Mondriz CF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quartell:s goal. Hugo Elguero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yvon Huerta during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yvon Huerta kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Zabulón Campomanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quartell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zabulón Campomanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quartell's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sebastiano Lorenzo 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zuriko Titos to make the kick off. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mondriz CF's goalkeeper Ricardo Casero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mondriz CF's Zuriko Titos got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Dalmacio Quintero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Quartell defense, Zuriko Titos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gamus Prats. The Quartell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gamus Prats should have stopped the shot. Gervasio Yeste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes of play, Mondriz CF's Gervasio Yeste made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gamus Prats was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 played minutes Mondriz CF got a freekick which was hit by Antxo Zaplana. Quartell's Hugo Elguero got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Elguero might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Casero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Elguero ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the match, Mondriz CF's goalkeeper Ricardo Casero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zabulón Campomanes. Zuriko Titos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
