Chinto Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flor Diez having to interfere. Juan-Luis Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blanco Teruel was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blanco Teruel in the 53rd minute of play forced Baseia FC's goalkeeper Diego Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Blanco Teruel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Baseia FC's Diego Vera. Diego Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hussein Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Hussein Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hussein Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elorriaga AFC's Flor Diez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan-Luis Madariaga in the 82nd minute of play. Blanco Teruel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Diego Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Baseia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Teruel came free, but Diego Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hussein Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hussein Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Baseia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Teruel came free, but Diego Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blanco Teruel in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Vera saved Baseia FC from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Abelardo Macho had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Juan-Luis Madariaga fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baseia FC's protests and gave Juan-Luis Madariaga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Juan-Luis Madariaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
