The audience thought a goal was coming when Aitor Dominguez got free with Benvide Lopez de Toro in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benvide Lopez de Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reno Mala in the 26th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Omar Rosario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albuixech's Severiano Casero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Rosario in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Casero saved Albuixech from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Playa Del Arenal's Matxin Ibanez got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Aitor Dominguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aitor Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Reno Mala made the kick off in the second half. When Aitor Dominguez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Benvide Lopez de Toro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Benvide Lopez de Toro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aitor Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Playa Del Arenal's Fresco Ucero got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Aitor Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benvide Lopez de Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nesor Blazquez charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nesor Blazquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Albuixech booed when Playa Del Arenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nesor Blazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Playa Del Arenal's goal looked a bit too open when Reno Mala came free, but Benvide Lopez de Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aitor Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Benvide Lopez de Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentín Sobrado hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Benvide Lopez de Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reno Mala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Aitor Dominguez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Benvide Lopez de Toro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Playa Del Arenal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
