In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Sangonera La Verde FC. Xelo Sacristán stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Renato Cifuentes. 0-1. After 20 played minutes Sangonera La Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Ecija. When Jordi Gasso came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sant Andreu Del Coll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordi Gasso couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Sant Andreu Del Coll:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sangonera La Verde FC:s goal. If Isidro Sirvent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Sangonera La Verde FC's Isidro Sirvent sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renato Cifuentes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 minutes, Jesús Marrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sant Andreu Del Coll and the Sangonera La Verde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jordi Gasso was the one to do the kick off. When Gualterio Ecija fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sangonera La Verde FC's protests and gave Gualterio Ecija a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Sant Andreu Del Coll got a freekick which was hit by Rami Treviño. In the 67th match minute, Sangonera La Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufino Palanques to maneuver through the defense. Quinto Romero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronaldo Ibanez. Sangonera La Verde FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 69 played minutes Sangonera La Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Ecija. Jordi Gasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronaldo Ibanez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordi Gasso ran back to his position shaking his head. Gualterio Ecija kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Renato Cifuentes made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Isidro Sirvent sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Sangonera La Verde FC's zone, Oxel Aranzubia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Ibanez came out of the goal and Oxel Aranzubia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Oxel Aranzubia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sangonera La Verde FC's Ronaldo Ibanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oxel Aranzubia in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Sant Andreu Del Coll's Renato Cifuentes got control of the ball when Isidro Sirvent tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sant Andreu Del Coll's Renato Cifuentes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Sant Andreu Del Coll from getting a goal against them. Vergaray Jorquera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vergaray Jorquera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sangonera La Verde FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
