Kelemen Prieto struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Beltxe Morcego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pozo Estrecho FC. Kelemen Prieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Barriada Nueva AFC were awarded a corner. Jusepe Carreira went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 16th minute, Xulian Benito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Baños struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Beltxe Morcego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pozo Estrecho FC. 21 minutes into the match, Luis Coira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pozo Estrecho FC's Giraldo Mendez. Giraldo Mendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giraldo Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lesardo Morales in the 25th minute of the match. Kelemen Prieto might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beltxe Morcego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kelemen Prieto ran back to his position shaking his head. Cordarell Amer hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Kelemen Prieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes, Luis Coira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barriada Nueva AFC and the Pozo Estrecho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lesardo Morales in the 48th minute of play forced Pozo Estrecho FC's goalkeeper Giraldo Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Baños to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Coira in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giraldo Mendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beltxe Morcego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Baños, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Giraldo Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Coira in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Cordarell Amer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pozo Estrecho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barriada Nueva AFC the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Pozo Estrecho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarell Amer to maneuver through the defense. Lesardo Morales hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Beltxe Morcego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kelemen Prieto went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Osmundo Marcilla fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barriada Nueva AFC's protests and gave Osmundo Marcilla a yellow card for diving instead. Rolando Baños recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barriada Nueva AFC's Beltxe Morcego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Baños in the 88th minute of play. Kelemen Prieto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Beltxe Morcego made a huge save. Lesardo Morales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giraldo Mendez having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pozo Estrecho FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
