Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cloyo Gabas made the kick off and thus started the match. Altzibar Alcalde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute Altzibar Alcalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Altzibar Alcalde in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Machado saved Sarsamarcuello from getting behind. Raúl Pacheco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Sarsamarcuello's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 12 minutes, Altzibar Alcalde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castellon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Altzibar Alcalde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Altzibar Alcalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altzibar Alcalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Machado having to interfere. Herminio Balcells's shot from long distance in the 23rd minute was not bad at all, but Castellon AFC's Iñaki Pacheco knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Dalmu Idiaquez hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Cloyo Gabas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iñaki Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cloyo Gabas in the 29th minute of play. Cloyo Gabas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iñaki Pacheco having to interfere. Santo Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altzibar Alcalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Altzibar Alcalde to make the kick off. If Cloyo Gabas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cloyo Gabas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iñaki Pacheco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Raúl Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iñaki Pacheco having to interfere. The supporters of Castellon AFC booed when Sarsamarcuello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celio Mayol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cloyo Gabas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sarsamarcuello's Cloyo Gabas in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castellon AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gilabert De Paula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. If Altzibar Alcalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Altzibar Alcalde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santo Machado. Altzibar Alcalde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Cloyo Gabas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Gilabert De Paula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castellon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilabert De Paula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute Altzibar Alcalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Castellon AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sarsamarcuello from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
