Castellon AFC's Iñaki Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Baños in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Castellon AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Yago Crespo hit a great ball. Pozo Estrecho FC's Giraldo Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altzibar Alcalde in the 15th minute of play. Gilabert De Paula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Pozo Estrecho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Altzibar Alcalde came free, but Giraldo Mendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Castellon AFC booed when Pozo Estrecho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordarell Amer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claude Estruch hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes Castellon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Altzibar Alcalde. Rolando Baños sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, Castellon AFC's Gilabert De Paula made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giraldo Mendez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Gilabert De Paula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Gilabert De Paula sped through Pozo Estrecho FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giraldo Mendez. After a defensive mix-up in Castellon AFC's zone, Rolando Baños stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iñaki Pacheco came out of the goal and Rolando Baños tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Baños fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iñaki Pacheco having to interfere. A collision led to Castellon AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Yago Crespo hit a great ball. The nice shot from Kelemen Prieto in the 78thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Iñaki Pacheco had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Xulian Benito kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Gilabert De Paula notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Pozo Estrecho FC's Giraldo Mendez. Giraldo Mendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pozo Estrecho FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castellon AFC.
