After 3 played minutes Can Bartomet FC got a freekick which was hit by Arias Paz. Quexal Revuelta struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Saul Perpiñán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costacabana FC. Can Bartomet FC's Saul Perpiñán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Can Bartomet FC from getting a goal against them. Sergio Verdaguer's late challenge caught a Costacabana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Verdaguer helped the player get up and apologised. Sergio Verdaguer hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Costacabana FC's Nesor Alabern couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Can Bartomet FC. Quexal Revuelta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 22nd minute of the match Sergio Verdaguer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sergio Verdaguer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Can Bartomet FC's Sergio Verdaguer got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Costacabana FC's Nesor Alabern tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alexander Menendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliz Talavera having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Reimundo Castellano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Can Bartomet FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reimundo Castellano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliz Talavera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro Acosta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliz Talavera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo España in the 40th minute of play forced Can Bartomet FC's goalkeeper Saul Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Can Bartomet FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Cirilo España scored to the left of an out of position Saul Perpiñán, making the score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo España was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Quexal Revuelta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costacabana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quexal Revuelta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Perpiñán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Cirilo España made a precise shot to the right of Saul Perpiñán. Can Bartomet FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Sandro Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Can Bartomet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Acosta couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milio De Toro during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, one of Costacabana FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costacabana FC. The goalkeeper, Feliz Talavera, was totally fooled by Can Bartomet FC's Quentin Bergada, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Acosta got free with Feliz Talavera in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Costacabana FC's goalkeeper Feliz Talavera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Acosta. The supporters of Can Bartomet FC booed when Costacabana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andoni España didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo España in the 76th minute of play. Cirilo España charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo España the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Cirilo España hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quexal Revuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Perpiñán having to interfere. Can Bartomet FC's Sandro Acosta got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sandro Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
