The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cirilo España received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Amado Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creixell's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliz Talavera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute of the match Neron Companys sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliz Talavera skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demesio Barberá in the 74th minute of play forced Costacabana FC's goalkeeper Feliz Talavera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costacabana FC's Xofre Labarra suffered a sore foot after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Xesus Camarasa's late challenge caught a Costacabana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo España got free with Andres Amorebieta in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Cirilo España got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Costacabana FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
