Sergio Verdaguer hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Demesio Barberá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alexander Menendez fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Can Bartomet FC's protests and gave Alexander Menendez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Creixell booed when Can Bartomet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Menendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Creixell's Guillen Alfaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Perpiñán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sandro Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th of the match, Guillen Alfaro tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Saul Perpiñán got in the way and made a wonderful save. Anibal Guijarro charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anibal Guijarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anibal Guijarro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jesús Saura, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Verdaguer during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saul Perpiñán was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jesús Saura. Creixell's Andres Amorebieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Acosta in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Reimundo Castellano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andres Amorebieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Acosta in the 42nd minute of play. Demesio Barberá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Perpiñán having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Demesio Barberá made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Can Bartomet FC's Reimundo Castellano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Amorebieta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Xesus Camarasa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Creixell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Can Bartomet FC the free kick. After 56 played minutes Creixell got a freekick which was hit by Xesus Camarasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demesio Barberá in the 59th minute of play forced Can Bartomet FC's goalkeeper Saul Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Demesio Barberá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creixell's supporters rose to their feet, but Demesio Barberá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Perpiñán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Can Bartomet FC's zone, Demesio Barberá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Perpiñán came out of the goal and Demesio Barberá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Demesio Barberá came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Creixell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demesio Barberá couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Ciano De Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Xesus Camarasa came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Creixell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xesus Camarasa couldn't finish the play. Xesus Camarasa kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. If Sandro Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Creixell players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
