If Aniceto Griego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Móstoles's Amador Zafrilla tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 14 minutes, Tacito Zubiaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sala SD and the Móstoles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tacito Zubiaga hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Benedicto Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Vadillos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Sala SD's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santos came free, but Cefero Cao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vadillos in the 26th minute of play. José Dulce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Sanz having to interfere. If Carlos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aniceto Griego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cefero Cao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cefero Cao having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Sala SD's Fernando Alfaro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Amador Zafrilla missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 44 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Cefero Cao right hand side. 46 minutes into the match, Móstoles's Carlos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cefero Cao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute Aniceto Griego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cefero Cao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Santos was the one to do the kick off. Reynaldo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. José Dulce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Benedicto Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Amador Zafrilla came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Móstoles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Zafrilla couldn't finish the play. Carlos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cefero Cao having to interfere. Macerio Domingo charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Macerio Domingo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Móstoles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macerio Domingo to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, José Dulce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benedicto Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute of the match, Carlos Santos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cefero Cao saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th minute Guido Vadillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Móstoles's Aniceto Griego made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cefero Cao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Móstoles's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
