Nazario Ramis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mauricio Soldado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurre Salazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nazario Ramis went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Mauricio Soldado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymond Quesada made a kick off. Virgilio Avila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gil Zafrilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Xurde Teresa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quart AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monteagudo the free kick. In the 91st minute, Raymond Quesada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Monteagudo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quart AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Quart AFC.
