The supporters of Matagorda FC booed when Arangiz AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aita Dobale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, Matagorda FC's Claus Tobias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto Torres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Matagorda FC reached it. Guillen Solano's late challenge caught a Matagorda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillen Solano helped the player get up and apologised. Cris Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Matagorda FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tito Solera hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Matagorda FC's Ibar Valdés nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

61 minutes into the match, Matagorda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Marques came free, but Valerio Orbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaizki Cabrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Jaizki Cabrera rounded Arangiz AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Ibar Valdés blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Torres having to make a save. Jaizki Cabrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Nagoi Solera made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Torres. Arangiz AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 93 played minutes Arangiz AFC got a freekick which was hit by Guillen Solano. The Arangiz AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Matagorda FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Matagorda FC.
