In the 5th minute, Siro Alonso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Calpe FC's Louis Olano didn't even have to move. Calpe FC's Louis Olano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonza Marques in the 7th minute of play. If Juan-Luis Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Loiola AFC's Hibai Rivas got a free kick in the 18th minute. Loiola AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Máximo Serra 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Louis Olano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Luis Rojas in the 24th minute of the match. Louis Olano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan-Luis Rojas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 40 played minutes Calpe FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Baltanas. The audience was convinced that Gonza Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Louis Olano was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 48th minute, Juan-Luis Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Máximo Serra to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan-Luis Rojas got free with Louis Olano in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan-Luis Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Olano having to interfere. Juan-Luis Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Louis Olano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gonza Marques came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Loiola AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonza Marques couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Loiola AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Siro Alonso hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Calpe FC's Fernando Teruel in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Gonza Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gonza Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Louis Olano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Loiola AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Fero Iglesias hit a great ball. Atilio Manrique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Loiola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Serra came free, but Modesto Abasalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Modesto Abasalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loiola AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Calpe FC had won, even though Loiola AFC had held more of the ball.
